Lateralis Roaches

The Blatta Lateralis Roaches, or Turkistan Roaches, are a good choice of feeder roach for smaller reptiles since they reach an adult size of approximately 1”. Blatta Lateralis Roaches don't climb smooth surfaces, they don't fly, and, if kept properly they have no odor. They are unusual among feeder roaches in that they lay eggs, which makes it easier to separate the nymphs from the adults. Blatta Lateralis Roaches are nutritious for a variety of reptiles because they are soft-bodied, high in protein, low in fat, and have a lot of meat. They reproduce quickly and are especially suitable for most gecko species.

Blatta Lateralis Roaches are very easy to care for and even easier to breed. For food, just give them fresh fruits, vegetables, and roach food regularly. You will also need to make sure their enclosure is clean, and provide them with water crystal gel. Turkistan Roaches need to be heated and have an appropriate amount of humidity.
